Xerox Research Centre of Canada's innovation hub helps position Toronto as one of the top ten cities for corporate innovation

Joining the ranks alongside Seattle, New York, San Francisco, and others, Toronto has been named one of the top ten North American cities on the rise for corporate innovation.

In its run-down of Toronto, Innovation Leader magazine notes MaRS Discovery District, Communitech Hub, and the Xerox Research Centre of Canada as considerations for Toronto making the list.

Recognized for its pioneering work in advanced materials, the Xerox Research Centre of Canada, located in Mississauga, has been nurturing an innovation hub, providing co-located space and access to its labs and scale-up engineering pilot plant to start-ups and incubators.

The growing hub features well-known start-up accelerator RICCentre and green chemistry innovators GreenCentre Canada.

To promote this good news I commissioned an original illustration that depicts the research centre elevating or buttressing the city of Toronto.
